The aim of the project is to make the collection fund of the Museum of the Slovak National Uprising more accessible to the public in a unique and more attractive way with new construction and technological design.
In Europe, there are only a few examples of museums opening their collection storages (depositories) to the general public and it is hardly the case of Slovak museums. The “Open Depository” project allows us to change the way we make our collections accessible to museum visitors.
The Narvik War and Peace Centre is a non-profit foundation that researches, documents and disseminates on issues related to war and conflict. It was founded through a merger of the Nordland Red Cross War Memorial Museum and Nordnorsk fredssenter.
